| 9/22/2005 | Pooled Shipment Query In partnership with our big sister company, Watkins Motor Lines, Land Span is now providing pooled truckload to LTL distribution service. Basically, the shipper pools LTL shipments from a single location and ships them at Land Span's truckload rates to the destination region where the individual pros are distributed to by Watkins LTL delivery service. Shippers reduce their transportation costs while retaining superior levels of service. With our new Pooled Shipment Query screen, the consignees can query their shipments using the PO number and the destination zip code to get up-to-the-hour status of their shipment, including information on the truckload movement. | 2/19/2002 | Online EFS transactions For contractors that have signed a release form to allow online access to settlements info, we also have the option of allowing them to view EFS transactions. These transactions are downloaded around 12:30 each week day and include the transactions for the prior day. This is ideal for the home book keeper that does not like to wait until getting the weekly settlement to see what the EFS transaction were. The online info provides more details that the settlement report. The details shown are Transaction date/time, location, amount of fuel purchase (if any), fuel gallons (if any), advance amount (if any), driver code, and hub miles. |

| 1/31/2002 | Contractor Settlements Reports Online Contractor Settlements reports can now be viewed online (with proper security clearance) using a $ link from the tractor list page. In order to view these statements, you must meet the following criteria:
If you are an owner/operator and would like to view your settlement statements online, please send an email to Eric.Templin@watkins.com. Please state your name, leased Land Span tractors numbers, and mention that you grant permission to Land Span to make this information available to you online. You will be required to send us a signed release form. |
| 1/28/2002 | Driver pay stub information Drivers can now get their pay stub information sent to them in a qualcomm message. For security purposes, we require that the drivers send a macro 25 message to PAYROLL. They must put their alpha driver code in the FROM: field, and their password on the first message line. Driver pay information is typically ready for QC transmission at 3:00 AM EST on Friday. This macro will only send pay data for driver codes that are currently assigned to the tractor from which the macro was sent. |
